These courses are designed to provide experiences that provide informative instruction that will develop skills, reveal talents, and engage the senses in an atmosphere of beauty, fun, and knowledge.

  • The Little Teacup - A Children's Book Reading

    Join us at A Cause for Tea for a delightful children's book reading of The Little Teacup.

    Bring the whole family for an enjoyable experience in our Tea Shed Garden where imagination & storytelling come to life.

    A special craft will be lead by the author & lemonade and cookies will be served during the occasion!

    Meet the Author:

    Maddie Martel is a self-published author and illustrator based out of Charlotte, NC. Her debut story The Little Teacup is a heartfelt work that reflects her personal testimony and the inspiration behind her small business Tea’l Cup Studio. It is her desire to create meaningful stories through Tea’l Cup Studio’s dedication to meditating on God’s loving wisdom and sharing that wisdom for the nourishment of faith in all ages.

    Book reading will be hosted outside in our Tea Shed Garden

  • Mahjong

    Join us for a gathering of tea , sweet company and Mahjong! Beginning Wednesday June 10, 2026 from 2:00p - 4:30pm until Wednesday July 1, 2026. Iced tea will be served for your enjoyment every week for an evening of Mahjong, gathering, and connection!

    Come enjoy the beauty of the season in our beautiful teahouse as we play together and share in good company.

    Whether you are a seasoned player or just learning, all are welcome for a fun and relaxing time together. You are encouraged to enjoy lunch at the Tea House before the class begins.
